I'm watching The History of the Eagles on Netflix. A lot of Randy Meisner on a maplglo 4001 and suddenly you see the back of a 3001!

We Rickenbacker guys are already treated well with Paul Boyer's Rickenbacker book. Dutch guy Rob van den Broek made a similar book about Gibson basses. He took pictures of eighty (!) different ones! EB, EB1, EB1, EB2, EB3, EB4, non rev Tbird, rev Tbird, RD, Midtown, LP, Triumph, LP Sig, SG reissue, ...

My '78 WHT 4001 was originally owned by Giorgio Kilkenny. He could have recorded Come On Eileen with it,but other stories say the studio just used a P.

A Höfner toaster would look cool, but that's a single coil. The Staple is a humbucker.

When I still had my 4005WB I gigged it once in a while, but it's quite rare to see a 4005 on stage. The singer/bass player of The Klaxons uses one: (bad pic_
