Re: Lets see your 660's or 620's

Thanks Gary (and everyone else that commented on my new 660), I can't wait to get the Zymol on it! I just wish I had the cash to get a matching 12 string. As I mentioned before, between the great shading we're seeing on these Fireglo finishes, the figured wood, and full length inlays, it's a good ti...

Paul,

You have a true gift for descriptions - "with the butcher's favorite--a Dremel tool".

Nice one!

Well, This might not help your situation but this is my 1973 620 Jetglo with full width sparkles and those unusual lightshow era pickups. I happen to love this guitar.

Re: List your favorite movie song

It's hard to pick a favorite but i thought the Bangles did a nice job with Simon and Garfunkels' "Hazy Shade of Winter" in "Less than Zero".

Re: When good artists go bad: the worst of the best

I think different music speaks to different people in different ways. That's part of what makes it so great! Personally, I love the Tommy album (or albums if you will...I still listen to vinyl!), pretty much every song on it. "You Better You bet" didn't do it for me. I do, however, like &q...

Re: When good artists go bad: the worst of the best

As stated before this is all subjective to ones taste, but I'm tossing The Who in there (who is one of my very favorite bands) for "you better you bet".

Re: My first 'REAL' Rickenbacker sighting live

For the live Ric Bass it was definately Rush. I saw them 3 times during my High School years in St Louis sometime between 1978 and 1981. The details are somewhat....................cloudy.......but I do know that I thought it was the coolest thing ever! As for the live Ric Guitar, it was probably R....

Re: Stolen Rick and Others

Sorry about your loss, Earlier this year my storage was broken into and one of the things they got (aside from my Identity..don't ask...NIGHTMARE!) was my mesa boogie half stack. Long story short, a few months later I was having my guitar, a Rick 360v64 6 string, set up at my local guitar guy's shop...

Re: SoCal 2008...Thanks for the Memories!

Well, I guess I’ll take this opportunity for my first post on this forum. I’ve been reading posts here (what some of you call “lurking”) for some time. I officially joined just a few days prior to the Southern California Confluence to get a better feel for the event but felt is was better, as a newb...
