What I’ve leaned about my Ric
I guess this would be an up date to my two former post, slow fret board, and string height. I have a Ric 370 VP VB MG, made in 2002, it’s a beautiful guitar but it’s spent most of its life as a case queen, I always considerd it great for chords, but I could never play lead with it like I could with ...

String height
I’m in the process of researching how to set up my Ric 370 VP VB, thanks to this forum I found the Ric manual. It’s pretty good, the only thing it doesn’t say is the factory spec for string height on both the high, and low E, or what fret to measure it on. Most guitars the string height is measured ...

Re: Slow fret board
Thanks for the info, I think coming off playing acoustics exclusively for so long, the best thing is just to put the other guitars away and concentrate playing just my Ric. It shouldn’t take very long for me to adapt to that fret board.
Thanks,
Paul
Thanks,
Paul

It’s been a long long time since I’ve posted, but now I’m back, and it feels good. I have a Ric 370 VP VB, it’s a really nice guitar, but after a long time I’m back to playing it again, for the last 10 yrs or so I’ve been playing acoustics, but it’s time
I start playing my Ric as well. The ...

Ric 375
I have a Ric 375 in maple glow, the guitar was made in 2002, I plugged in the serial number on Rickenbackers sight, and it was made on the 18 th week of 2002. I can't find anything at all about this guitar on the Internet, there's plenty of info on the ones made in the 60s, but nothing about any ...

Looking for a small tube amp
Im looking for a small tube amp just to use for practice, and for when Im sitting on my front porch. I already have 3 tube amps , a HotRod DeVille 4x10, a 1971 Traynor YGL3 Marklll, and a Traynor YCV40, all are great amps but big and heavey. I thought about a fender blues Jr $400.00, but then I ...

Re: Interesting Read, Austin Newspaper
Great artical, it's hard for us to have to wait for the Rics we ordered, but Im glad that Rickenbacker can't keep up with the orders, if they're selling guitars faster than they can make them then that equals buisness is very good indeed, and that in the long run is good for us. If it was'nt for the ...

Re-tube?
Hi all,
I have a Traynor YCV 40WR it's only about 6 months old I really like this amp, it's pretty versital, at least for the stuff I play, anyway it comes stock from the factory with Sovtech tubes. I was told that if I re-tube the amp with JJ's it would sound better. Now better is a relative term ...

Re: The best tube combo amp for a Ric?
I don't think it's possible to say whats the "best tube amp/ Ric combo", everybody is looking for something different in an amp. What I like you may hate and visa versa, only you can determine what amp sound you like best with your Ric. I have a Fender Hotrod Deville, a Traynor YCV 40WR and a ...

Re: First Impressions of My First Rickenbacker
I too am an affectionado of both Rickenbacker, and G&L, and I have two of each, my Rics are a 620 JG 6 string, and a Ric 375 MG, my G&L's are a Bluesboy ASAT, and a Legacy 2HB, it has a coil tap switch so I can go with either single coils, or humbuckers. It's my most versital guitar, and I agree ...
