Has anyone tried a combination of one hi-gain and one toaster in the same guitar?

Are Pyramid strings as good as they say?
Are they equally as good for hi gains as well as toaster pups?

And why is so hard to find a pair of toasters?

Don't want to waste any money if its not going to alter much.
