Where were all these basses when I was looking for one 3 months ago?
Capsule has 2 4003FG and a 77 4001 MG.

Same $CAD price change due to $USD exchange but still a nice guitar.

Jetglo for $2399 CAD

When I was buying the 370 one of the guys in the store was on the phone talking to someone about the 330.

David, I have pictures of your guitar being restored (binding added, painting process, etc.) if you're interested.

That's one of the great deals of the year. It would cost almost $3K to duplicate these days.

That one is my work--both the finish and the binding. I believe it was owned by John Pollard at the time. Top guard is nice like that, but I would have done vintage black knobs or even oven knobs...

How hard is it to install one of the toaster-tops in a 4003? Just wondering.

What store did you buy it in?
Long and McQuade gave me an estimate wait time of about a year.

Long & Mcquade Mississauga.
Its a Fireglow 4003 that was brought in from another L&M location for stock.
It just a fluke that I was there when it was.

The only other one I know of for sale ...

Yes, brand new 2008.
I was lucky to happen to be in the store when it was on the wall.
Ricks sell quickly in Toronto.

[*] I just bought a 4003 and there was nothing in the case besides the bass ,a key and the dessicant (you can't eat these by the way ).

Can anyone please tell me what else should come with the bass?

Didn't the early 4003 have the trussrod adjustment at the body end? The 2 piece guard would allow you to adjust the rods without disassembling the bass.
