This is me on the left, from 1979.
This bass was later stolen
Oh I can remember the sound I got out of that bass
I envy you, Mia

Re: Head count
Like in other forums, the "search" function is a good start. If you can't find the answer, you are welcome to post in the guitar section if it is a guitar, or in the bass section if it is a bass. You say you have a 2001. You mean 4001, right? Then the bass section is the place to introduce yourself ...

Cavity writing
I have a 4001 '74. In the cavity under the pickguard I found some writing. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what this means.
It seems some has written
"4001-B" and then in smaller letters what seems to be "PK2".
Under this it looks like "ROOBER" or maybe "RUDBER" or"RODBER". Then there is ...

Re: Head count
There are many forums on RickResource and since I am new I am uncertain where to post special questions.
I have found what looks like a signature under the pickguard. Where can I find info on that?
Where is the best place for questions on electronics?
Thanks
Jarl

Re: Head count
Hei
I just became a member. I found this site at the vintage guitar forum in Norway.
I own a 1974 2001. I havn't used it for many years. It needs some work on it to bring it back to top working order.
I am hoping to get some tips and hints.
