Like in other forums, the "search" function is a good start. If you can't find the answer, you are welcome to post in the guitar section if it is a guitar, or in the bass section if it is a bass. You say you have a 2001. You mean 4001, right? Then the bass section is the place to introduce yourself ...

Cavity writing

I have a 4001 '74. In the cavity under the pickguard I found some writing. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what this means.
It seems some has written

"4001-B" and then in smaller letters what seems to be "PK2".
Under this it looks like "ROOBER" or maybe "RUDBER" or"RODBER". Then there is ...

There are many forums on RickResource and since I am new I am uncertain where to post special questions.
I have found what looks like a signature under the pickguard. Where can I find info on that?
Where is the best place for questions on electronics?

I just became a member. I found this site at the vintage guitar forum in Norway.
I own a 1974 2001. I havn't used it for many years. It needs some work on it to bring it back to top working order.
I am hoping to get some tips and hints.
