TC Electronics BH250 head with a Aguilar GS112 bottom.

You won't find better or more flexible sound. Plus the head has a tuner and allows for downloading a range of high quality effects.

I replaced one of the two rods in a 4003 last year. I ordered the new set from Rickenbacker.

I probably still have the remaining new rod. PM me if you want it.
