So - basically - the cloth is OK unless your guitar is dirty (which is why you want to polish it) :-)

The wax does not leave a residue?

I will check out the Scratch X & Zymol

Best Polish

Greetings!

Well - my band finally went bust - after being about for 23 years - I was in it for at least 14 of them. I am about the only member that has not "Lost the Fire" and still wants to play it seems.

So - time to clean up all the gear until I find something new. I was wondering what ...

Yukon Jack for me.

Straight. Just sippin' all night long.

Smooths out the throat, lets you sing better. Like medicine - right?

I use both fingers and pick. Not too thick on the pick so it gets a metallic sound (think Billy Idol's version of Mony Mony).

Basically - the pick is for the harder rock songs and the fingers for the expressive general stuff.

Though I have seen people use a pick and sound just like a thumb and ...

Finding Old Thread

A few months ago I started a thread about my truss rod pulling into the neck. There were photos and advice from some to fix it in reply (Thank You).

Due to life stuff like moving, wife got pregnant and other things I am just now getting to the repair.

But I can not find the thread! It is too ...

I heard there is a diod or bulb to protect the tweeter. Don't know much more about it. I turn my tweeter off anyway - who needs that when I wanna rumble :-) There is more than enough high end in the 10s for a good gnarl. But - I guess the funk guys can use the tweeter.

They are not made out of ...

Yeah - I remember that Labella was the standard string in the flat wound days. I was starting out and bought this cheapie Japanese bass that looked like an ES335. It was a "Princeton" I think. Anyway - after a while I took it in for strings and they gave me flat Labellas. It was so twangy I was ...

Wow! Did not know all that.

So - the new site lost all the industrial look and replaced it with a lot of girls trying to look like commercials from the 60s. Any guesses as to why?

That is a good price - the cabs alone go for that. I noticed that the local GC about here dumped a lot of Ampeg stuff cheap. I wonder if they need restock with what is ever being produced now?

One look at the Ampeg website shows a lot of changes - for the worse. They removed the chat link - I ...

Regarding the returns for putting your money into gear.

For the longest times I was using PeaVey rigs. The popular 80s issue of the Pro III head that was loosely based on the Acoustic 320 design and the 1810 cab with an 18’ and two 10” speakers with a passive crossover about 500 HZ. Later a 90s ...

Anyone do the TBL? I put something out there on doing many basses at a job. It was a thread over a week or two.

But I digress. Forget the Behringer. They are hit and miss junk. Some work and some smoke out of the box. Guys at several music stores told me that. Sad that they (È Ï&#227 ...
