Another well researched video from the channel with the video about their guitar strings. This one that just came out now is about George's second Country Gent and Tennessean, and it has an interesting connection to Paul's first Hofner.

Re: concern 2009 325c64 vs 325c58 incorrect specs
That looks like the more narrow headstock of the '64. Another difference, the '58 has a two inch deep body, one and a half for the '64. You can also ask about the weight, the '58 is five pounds while the '64 is seven pounds. Either way it's still a good find, though it beats me why anyone would actu...

The Pacemakers & the Fabs with British singer Louise Cordet in '63. She had her only hit "I'm Just A Baby" in 1962.

Re: Worth the wait?
I've got an Accent on my '96 350V63 and it works just fine, and I use it quite a bit. IMHO they are underappreciated, I mean you're going going to do dive bombs with it but it'll give you a nice little shimmer.

Re: Worth the wait?
My #1 for the last 21 years has been my midnight blue '02 620, and it's been a great all around player. I hope you enjoy yours for as long!

Re: The Beatles at Stowe School
This is pretty awesome, but I saw the setlist and it's nothing that hasn't already been released on the 'Live at the BBC' sets. That being said, if it eventually comes out on CD I'll get it. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2023/apr/09/please-please-us-lost-tape-of-beatles-school-gig-could-be-saved...

In the new Rickenbacker book Roger said he had the middle pickup added because he thought it looked cool, but that he only used the bridge pickup.

Re: Rich Robinson Rickenbacker Model
When Rose Morris discontinued their business with Rickenbacker in '67 the remainder of their orders were sent to Italy, so there must have been some 360/6s that didn't need to be converted as part of it.
A lucky find for sure!

Re: Doing a "Fogerty mod" on a 325?
Hey DeWayne, I had to get the fretboard on my '02 620 planed due to it developing a slight twist, after it was done I decided not to have it refinished and there wasn't any noticeable difference in the sound or playability. Fogerty never seemed to have any problem rocking his 325 with the glossy fin...

Re: Toaster Pickup differences
Just checked the high gains in my 2012 330/6 and they're both 11k. I'm not sure if that's typical, but it sounds great, clear and bright!

Stolen RIC in NYC!
Just saw this on The Gear Page. The description has the wrong model, if I'm not mistaken it's a 1997 re-issue.

Re: Ric 350v63 in TobaccoGlo
I just got the new Rickenbacker book, and in reading the chapter about John Hall it says that when he took over he wanted to standardize the manufacturing. Part of this was that they had used a combination of slotted and phillips screws on the pickups til then, so he switched to all phillips. The ex...
