Sell the MG? I feel a lack of MG appreciation Jason

But, I am happy the Rickie is no longer alone, family is growing! Congrats Richard :D

Re: 480XC

Given that the 650C fingerboard was ok but a tad to wide for my tiny hands to feel completely comfy, at least the 480XC should be familiar to play then! :D Fun fact: Initially, the plan was to go with the 650/660 (1 3/4") nut width and that is how the two prototypes we put up on social media b...

Curtis White Fender Factory Tour 1957 Video

Despite the framing being a bit weird with some top/bottom cut off this was interesting to watch, Curtis White footage of Fender factory, Leo on his boat. At 27:10 after Fender NAMM boot, there is some Rickenbacker NAMM stuff, followed by some Kay, Martin, Gretsch as well. How young Chet looks! YxXB...

Re: 480XC

If there is anything "specific" you wanted to know... ask away! :) Thanks, that was interesting to read! I had no clue the XC version has a push/pull knob! :!: Thanks :) The template for the 480XC neck and fretboard is the standard 620. Given that the 650C fingerboard was ok but a tad to ...

Re: Opinions: Creamery Toasters

The main reason Toasters sound the way they do is that they're wound to 8k ohms. The main reason that current hi gains (which were also originally wound to 8k) sound different is because they're wound to 12k. Have your hi gains unwound to 8k and you'll pretty much have your nice open bright Toaster...

Re: Opinions: Creamery Toasters

It's not a great video, but I did some comparison between stock hi-gains and a Creamery '63 toaster replacement in the bridge position of my Rickenbacker 360/6 midnight blue. You can see it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yk5T99tQ4IM Apologize in advance for the intro, but you'll get the gist. ...
