Re: Now THIS I like! (gloss walnut bass)
It's on my bucket list to visit Australia and/or New Zealand someday. If only just to go outside on a clear night and see a totally different sky...

Schweet!

No, it's just a lot of extra work to seal it in such a way that it doesn't.
That's what I figured. The finish looks like it's very solidly adhered to the wood.

Re: MARF Pics
SO THAT'S WHERE THAT BASS ENDED UP!?!?!?!?!?
I thought it was auctioned into oblivion!
I'm pretty sure that was a different bass altogether...it had a white TRC and the post-1997 more "bulbous" headstock crest, as seen here: http://chrissquire.net/
Squire's appeared to have a pre-1997 standard ...

Re: MARF Pics
And the icing on the cake:
Saw Yes in Baltimore Sunday night...I think it was the most enjoyable Yes show I've been to yet. Very intimate setting, along with quite a few tunes that hadn't been played live in decades.
Do yourselves a favor and catch them on this tour; you won't be disappointed!

Here, here...well done, Chris, Shelby and John!
With the exception of a wee bit of rain...okay, a LOT of rain...this event was flawless!! It was really great to see all you Rickenbacker gearheads again.
And hats off to Darren and Graham for jumping across a few ponds to get here!
Bravo!!
