Discontinued 350/12V63
Hi Guys, Would like to hear some comments/opinions about this nice Ric model that is now officially discontinued. Those who have owned the guitar, who own it now, its attributes, and drawbacks if any, etc. Also its advantages/disadvantages over the 325's. Also - how hard it was/is for members to go ...

Re: 360/12c63
James: I will be most likely selling mine early this summer if you are interested since I have more guitars than I can afford to keep at this point. It is a brand new 2009 360/12C63 with all paper work and blank warranty card etc., not played - only properly set up by the authorized Ric dealer I pur...

I think I'm all questioned out for the moment - but I'll have to think of some others to get eventually get the 100 needed posts to be able to view and use the classifieds! Eee Gad....What am I going to do! I'm runn...

Re: Pete Townsend and the Rickenbacker
That was very interesting about Pete's Rics, Jake.
Just glancing at your forum photo Jake - I assume that you have been told more than once you look like Tom Petty.....At a quick glance - I thought your photo was of Tom!

Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys
Would love to hear from those who are familiar with Carl Wilson and his use of Rics.....When he first started using them, Who he collaborated with from Ric in designing his special 360/12CW, how much thinner the top of the guitar is compared with regular 360's, how popular the CW models were when fi...

Re: 360/12c63
Thanks for the clarification , Paul. I had only seen "vintage" Rics of that period with very white pearl inlays so I just assumed that most of them were like that and that George's was somehow different. Do any of the other Ric current models have the gray inlays? Just curious.

Re: 360/12v64
25% duties tax in Sweden is certainly a lot, Jimmy! But as you say - it could still be cheaper than buying in Sweden. Keep mine in mind if you like....When I am able to post mine on the Ric classifieds - perhaps this Spring - we could chat about it again. The one thing to me that is most noticable a...

Re: George and his Gretsches
That's true - I forgot about about all those other instruments having floating bridges, Jim. I guess my main concern was if it moved out of place a little - affecting the intonation? Or does that not really happen and the movement of the floating bridge only affects the height and location of the st...

Holy Smokes! Those pics of those Light Show Rics are unbelievable! Thank you guys! And to you, Paul - you actually make these special Rics too!? Wow! I thought it was amazing enough you kept the Acoustic Rics going! What else can/do you do in the way of Rics?? Those Custom Lightshow Rics of yours ar...

Re: 320 325s who really plays them?
That's right Collin - I too wonder how John made that transition! The Epiphones would be HUGE in comparison to his 325! I even played one years ago as a teen and thought they were very big, bulky, and awkward to play compared to the Telecaster I was used to - even though that was as heavy as several...

Re: 320 325s who really plays them?
To Collin: That's very interesting about what you mentioned about John L. and those difficult rythmn parts he played on certain songs and how the 325's supposedly made that easier for him. I agree with you - those rythmn parts he does on several songs are VERY hard to do and keep up with, with ANY g...

Re: 360/12v64
Peter - your Turquoise Ric looks very nice in the pic but I have a question: As I've mentioned on another post - I bought a Turquoise 330 Ric several years back and although it was in like new condition - when I viewed the guitar for the first time in person - it appeared bright green with heavy met...
