Hi all, I have a 1968 convertible 366-12-b - identical in appearance to this: https://www.ronsvintage.com/guitars/rickenbacker-1968-model-366-12-b The tuners had been replaced with by a previous owner and are oversize and look 'wrong' on a Ric - they're Kluson Deluxe, with a large, splayed-out sort ...

Can anyone explain what the fabled 'Bounce Back' circuitry was all about? Some sort of trickery that made the TR amps sound 'louder', or something.
