Re: JetGlo dog & 330

The competition ends on Aug 5th GMT +1 and I really hope to get some more votes for Tyson and the Jetglo 330. I know that many of you have already voted, thank a lot, but I send this last call for all Rickenbacker "freaks" who hasn't. Tyson needs about 40 votes to get to the final! How to ...

Re: JetGlo dog & 330

Hi everybody! The competition is still going on for a month and a half. Tyson is right now at #6 just one vote ahead of #7. I hope we managed to end up in the top five, however, there is a huge gap to #4. Here is a recent list: 1. 429 2. 427 3. 368 4. 266 5. 182 6. 177 (Tyson) 7. 176 8. 114 9. 109 ....

Re: JetGlo dog & 330

Thank you for all your kind support. Tyson was at 4th place but is now at # 6. 30 additional votes would make him number 3. It is an easy task to follow the link and click on "Rösta". The shortcut can be found in the first post in this thread. More than 1500 photos are competing. KING OF T...

Re: JetGlo dog & 330

Thanks guys! That's right! "Rösta" (the green button) is the Swedish word for vote. I am very grateful for the great support from the RRF community. If every member gave one vote, how many votes would that be? I wonder..??? Tyson is now #7 (still) having 100 votes. That's cool but I...

Re: JetGlo dog & 330

Voted. My early 1990s pet dog was a border collie who looked very much like Tyson. His name was Phil (Phil Collie). The submitted photo looks like he's about to pick it up and play it, Bjorn. Great! These dogs are the ultimate energy package among dogs... Tyson is now at place #7. There a...

Thanks for voting! The photo is now at place 11. Let's hope it will climb even further. I have a couple of other photos from the same day as the other photo was shot. JetGlo dog & 330

I was suggested by one of the moderators to post a message in the General section of the RRF. So I will. It is a bit off topic but not entirely. I am in a competition with a photo. It's no fancy prizes but a chance to have your photo or another one taken as the official cover picture for three month...

350SH in Sweden

I found this guitar a couple of days ago. It is for sale. I wrote to RIC office to get the numbers verified but haven't heard back yet. This one is not listed in the SH database. It is # 243/250 and the serial is B49382. Any comments?

Re: Tio i Topp

This is a fantastic reminder about the time when I grew up. Remember that I listened to "Tio i topp" every Saturday afternoon at 15.00 hours. The fact that many British groups made it good here gave the Swedes many chances to see them live on smaller venues. This program, together with the...

Re: Welcome Bjorn Eriksson

I hope to be able to contribute with some Swedish Rickenbacker tales/sightings. Like this one: Someone told me that they had seen a "black & white" Rickenbacker guitar in the window of a jeans boutique (or similar) in the shopping district of Norrköping. Now I must try to locate the sh...

Re: How Did You Find Your First Rickenbacker?

Bjorn: Nice Avatar. You look like a rock star. :) How many other musicians have you met from Sweden that also play a Rickenbacker? I don't know how many I've met. It's not very common to run into Rickenbacker guitar or bass players. You seldom find used Rickenbackers in music stores either. Sometim...

Re: How Did You Find Your First Rickenbacker?

My first Rickenbacker was owned by a local musician who wanted to play bass instead of guitar. He needed money for purchasing a Fender J-bass and I bought his Rickenbacker. I was playing Beatles covers and thought it would be great to have a typical Beatles guitar. Rickenbackers are not very common ...
