The “push/pull” tone pot with its “vintage capacitor” only affects the bridge pickup, so I think 🤔 your 480XC is working correctly!
I only mentioned the push/pull cause of an issue I had before, this has nothing to do with that. Didn't mean for it to be confusing.

480 XC Push Pull - What exactly does it do
I bought a 480XC which I really like. I am just curious on exactly what the push-pull switch does in each position. I can hear the tone difference, but I wanted to try and figure what exactly happens in each position. Does it work like a blend switch or something else? Thank you.
