The body looks right to me.
The guard isn't original, IMO.
Nut's been changed.
Considering that all the pots, caps and wiring are not original, and the finish is not original, the guard and nut being swapped out wouldn't surprise me. I'm beginning to think something bad might have happened to ...

Looking for help determining 4001v63 possible year of manufacture. Pots and wiring are not factory. Jack plate is an xxx replacement. Sticker on underside of pickguard says bass was repainted in 2000. Horseshoe is much hotter than toaster. Opinions? Real? Fake? Possible value? Plays great. Sounds ...
