Re: Cave Passive Pedal "RFF Tour" begins!

Joshua pm'ed me a couple days ago and said he had the pedal and was gonna hand deliver it to me. He also mentioned maybe trying to get a few Ric members in the vicinity together for a bit of fun. Haven't heard from him since. I hope he is alright. Well he posted in another thread just yesterday, so...

Re: Some Jazz Bass advice please?

The classic vibes are great in my opinion. It took me a bit to get over the 'eww its a Squier' syndrome, but they make some great instruments!
You could always buy a Squier and put a Fender decal on it!   That Bait and Switch!

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

Rickenbacker influenced history by making the electric guitar, The Beatles Influenced music in itself. Only a fool would deny that. That's enough.

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

Whats say Paul McCartney and Ringo team up to buy V109 and the Arden, and they make it look like their passed friends' guitars. Whats the deal then? Where is the line drawn? Then Paul and Ringo would be the morons responsible. You think they get a free pass to do something stupid? Hah! Its j...

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

Here's a Q and A from the ebay auction for this guitar. Q is from a rabid Lennonizer: Q: That's crazy that u got that gtr! Imagine having the money and not caring about the collectible value and making the exact mods paint etc as the Lennon 325! Then you'd really have an exact 1958 Beatle Rick! Let...

Re: What's the deal with Olivia's Vintage and Rick?

I saw a 2011 40014C64 on there, and I thought they were discontinued earlier than that. Even though a particular model may be discontinued I am pretty sure they keep being made until all orders have been filled, just like the way COYs were done. Okay, that makes sense. Does anyone have a 360F on ba...

Re: What's the deal with Olivia's Vintage and Rick?

http://oliviasvintageguitars.com/rickenbacker/guitars/2414/ It seems they have a lot of nice ricks for sale in "mint - you will be the first player" condition, but the prices are publicly listed. So are these basically new guitars w/o the warranty? Musician's Friends returns? Factory seco...
