Re: My take on Squire's "The Fish" from yessongs
Well, close to two years on, and close to 20 shows later, Going for the One is still at it and stronger than ever. When I posted that first video, I had just gotten The Fish under my fingers, and was playing through a GK wedge (for the neck pickup) and a Music Man guitar Amp (for the bridge pick up ...

Re: Ric 4003 truss rod/name plate question
Thanks for the advice. I know just the guy! Here in Rochester we have The House of Guitars. Their guitar tech has built custom guitars, basses, even double necks and knows Ricks well. I'll bring it to him and see what he says.
Again, thanks for the advice.

Re: Ric 4003 truss rod/name plate question
Notice how the name plate is not sitting flush? Its resting on the nuts, which are tightened to the point where their edges are higher than the headstock profile...

Ric 4003 truss rod/name plate question
I bought my 4003 fireglo new and have adjusted the truss rods a few times over the years. Seems I'm always working out an underbow. Now I've gotten it to the perfect spot for me, again, where the neck is perfectly straight with no buzzes, and it plays better than ever (the bridge is also at its ...

Re: My take on Squire's "The Fish" from yessongs
Thanks for taking a little time to watch everyone, and for your comments. This little enterprise is just in its infancy so any feedback early on helps insure that our show will more closely represent the music at it should be! As far as being new, well, I've been a lurker for some time but never ...

My take on Squire's "The Fish" from yessongs
And now, for your consideration, my interpretation of Chris Squire's "The Fish" as he performed it on the live yessongs album. The video is incomplete and my execution is imperfect. But its also only the second time performing it in front of an audience with our Yes tribute band 'Going for the One ...
