4005 Rickenbacker V
I’m thinking of buy one of the new produced 4005’s, however I’m hoping the neck profile is like the 60’s. The seller says it’s almost like a D profile. Would this still make the neck feel wide? Anyone know how these are made?

Same here. They say they’re in stock. I haven’t tried to contact them to verify.

Original 1964 print of Lennon's 325/12
Jeff - I have an original print that was used in the Richard Smith book. Can you help me verify if it is from an original negative? There is stamping on the back that I feel is vintage. LMK if I can call you. PM me. Regards, Mike

Re: George Harrison Note on Rickenbacker Guitar
Mine isn’t handy either and in storage. Hopefully it is. I have another copy of the book sent to me along with the Harrison note. I’ll report back after I get them.kennyhowes wrote: Mon Jun 19, 2023 7:55 pm I don’t have my copy of the Richard Smith book handy...is this not in the foreword of that?

Haha,Kenny! That's still a good article. Yeah, George took some lousy pictures but gave some important and useful anecdotes.

George Harrison Note on Rickenbacker Guitar
This note was meant to be in the Richard Smith book. I thought you might enjoy it. I have never seen another handwritten note or letter by any of the other Beatles discussing their guitars.

Re: 4005XC
I was real disappointed by this model. Nothing like the original shape & size of the ones previously produced. And the colors offered are just plain. Too bad. Rickenbacker had a chance to fill some dreams to many but reacted in an awkward manner.

Re: Shipping to Australia
Unfortunately, it's a set neck so no luck there, but thanks for that info. Looks like my best deal is a $799 shipment cost that me and the buyer are going to split. Actually, not bad from what I was fist quoted by FedEx & DHL. USPS wouldn't even consider it as the dimensions are too big.

Shipping to Australia
Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum for this request but does anyone here have experience shipping a bass to Australia? I am quoted in the thousands. Are there any freight companies you know of that ship at reasonable prices? Thank you!
