Bill Wyman told me via e-mail sometime around 1996 that he has never had a desire to play or own a Rickenbacker. I had asked him if the story was true that Rickenbacker had special made a short scale bass for him to use on the 1972 tour.

According to an article in Beat Instrumental the Ricks that Brian used were purchased by Keith on a U.S. tour/visit in 1965.

There are alot of garage comps out there but be prepared,most of them do not feature the sterling sound of the Nuggets series as most were made with only original 45's being available.The previously mentioned "Back from the Grave" series was probably the first serious collecting of unknown...
