As much as I loved my 4004Ls, the neck just proved to be too wide for me. I prefer what Fender would call B width and the 4004s are 1.75" (Fender's C profile).

I could overlook the reversed headstock on a C64S, but I'd have to replace the TRC with one that points in the right direction.

I don't believe it. I think this is either a scam or just someone's idea of a creative way to attract attention to an auction.

I couldn't agree more about Pete's playing, Glenn.

He's always been one of my favorite players.

I hardly think that quote from Entwhistle rises to the level of bashing.

I kinda doubt McCartney himself would have taken an offense to that comment.

Entwhistle was every bit an innovator and had as unique a voice on bass as PMC. There would have been no Who without the thundering lead bass sound of Entwhistle (just as there would have been no Beatles w/o Paul).

JE wasn't a one trick 'play a lot of notes' pony.

I'm wondering if Macca is just covering all of his bases (Har! Pun intended), even if he doesn't have any real intention of using the trademark on all manner of products.

I couldn't finish reading it. It's way too sugary sweet for me. The guy may have as well wrote that Paul was the awesomest bass player ever.

It's short on substantive analysis and long on gushing compliments.

I'm a -huge- Fabs fan as I'm sure everyone here is, but comments like this make my ...

I agree with Jerry about "You Can't Do That". Every word, in fact. I couldn't have said it better!

And I agree with Paul. It's one of my favorite Beatle songs too.

The Bass Pod(s) are definitely tuned for bass. I have both the bass and guitar versions of the Pod XTlive and bass doesn't sound great via the guitar pod.

I got the bass model pack for the guitar Pod XTlive, but I haven't had any time to check it out. I suspect that it will be 'ok' but not as ...

Regardless of the ethics issues, LZ remain iconic in the world of rock music. For a very long time, no band was more larger than life or more popular.

John Bonham and Jimmy Page continue to influence players, some 25 years after the untimely passing of Bonham and LZ's demise.

I was never (and ...
