Re: New JangleBox pedals
The folks at Janglebox are pretty awesome. I literally just got an email from Steve Lasko. Let me say that he is very attentive to making sure his customers are happy with his product. I may be having a problem with this particular unit, but I know it is a great box and his company has the right ...

Re: New JangleBox pedals
Just testing with the guitars that they're primarily made for: Rickenbacker 340 and Fender Telecaster. No hi-gain pickups, toaster tops on the RIC and standard pickups on the Tele.

Re: New JangleBox pedals
To ensure that there was no problem with power, I didn't even use an A/C adapter until I'd exhaustively tested the box using a good battery and good cables and kept getting a bad result. When I tried the recommended A/C power cable, I had the same problem. Nothing changed. I really want to use this ...

Re: New JangleBox pedals
Any other Jangle box users have a problem with the unit(s) having no audio output except when bypassed? I haven't read about any others having this problem, so maybe my unit is defective. My JB2 Byrds model will power on, the blue and red red lights come on when engaged, but if I do that, there is ...

Help with RIC Serial Number - 4001 bass from August 1973
I am trying to verify the serial number on a RIC 4001 bass. The first part of the serial number is MH, so it is definitely August 1973, but the part of the jack plate with the serial numbers is corroded and rusty from use. It looks like 3893, but I wanted to see if any Forum members had a good ...

Re: The Raves at the International Pop Overthrow in Nashvill
This club is pretty small and unlike the IPO event in bigger cities like New York, London or L.A., there is only the one venue in Nashville. Besides, with all the homeless people we plan on getting in the door, we should have a fairly large audience.

The Raves at the International Pop Overthrow in Nashville
Retitled[1].png
This is the 15th year of the fabulous International Pop Overthrow Festival, where there's always an abundance of Rickenbackers and Vox amplifiers blasting out pop-rock music. Shows are scheduled starting March 15 & 16 in Phoenix, then April 4 - 6 in Detroit, April 11 - 14 in ...

Re: Kenny Howes
I know this is an older post, but Kenny always does a great show. If you're a pop music fan and love RICs (that should include 99% of the people on this site) you'll really enjoy Kenny Howes. Hey Kenny, send me a note at [email protected].

Mike Campbell of the Heartbreakers uses his RICs all the time and plays great solos on them.

Re: New JangleBox pedals
Here is a question primarily about using the Janglebox Byrds model with a Tonelab SE and a '68 RIC 340. I just spoke with the nice people at Janglebox and ordered the Byrds model Janglebox (they have suspended the regular JB2) to use with my RIC 340. I have been using a Vox Tonelab SE and 3 ...

Re: Vox Tonelab: Any Good?
I have been using the "Big Blue" SE with my Ric 345S since Vox premiered it. Here are some observations: Definately look at the choices of tube and setting the bias for improving the tone and response. JJ, Ruby, Electro-Harmonix or even Sovtek are better options that the more readily avavilable ...
