Both are nice guitars. The 660/12 has a flatter, wider neck than the c63/12. The c63/12 's neck is fatter and has more shoulder. If I could have kept the 660/12 I would have but I decided to sell and buy a c63/12. I have mine strung with 9's and tuned to A440. Like all my guitars I had to set it up ...

I am inclined to agree. The 660/12 played great but I prefer the radius on the 360/12c63. It also plays nicer than my 1965 360/12 and it is built better too!!!

Why not offer a 360/12 c 65?

Why doesn't Rickenbacker reissue an accurate version of the 360/12 from 1965/ Why did they change it at all? Was it because of the problems with structural weakness at the neck joint? Do older 360/12 v64's and c63's exhibit the same weakness?
