Re: Toaster covers on HiGains W/ adj. pole pieces
I realize it's been 6 years since the last comment, but I got vintage spec toaster covers and tried the suggestions here and my toaster on hi gain switch was a success. I tried to flip the poles and screw in from the bottom of the magnet first. Man those poles were tight. The volume dropped by half. ...

Re: How to spot a fake Rickenbacker
One good way if there aren't other obvious clues is to look at the headstock angle as well. I've got a faker that I love and is damn close to the real thing, but would never EVER try to pass it off as authentic. I always make sure I know what the tells are so if I should decide to sell, I can let pe...

Re: Midnite Blue
Ok I got it! I picked it up earlier today...haven't even gotten home from work yet. It's a beauty...looks brand new. I dig the color. The white PG gives the classic look, but with a very rich "newer color". As for MG..I also love that color, but I like the vintage ones better. The way they ...

Midnite Blue
I know this is only opinion, but it seems like this isn't a really strongly desired color. Maybe its because of the the big sale a weeks ago on these basses through a popular retailer. I personally think it's a great color. What say you guys/gals? I have a chance to get one for $1000 and really like ...
Re: Subaru!
My company car is a 2010 Subary Legacy, I got it in feb of 2010 and it now has 66,000 miles on it. At 65K I'm required to order a new one so I'm sticking with Subaru. They really are great cars, fun, safe and will run like a top!

How much are you selling the Gretsch bass for? I missed the boat on that one and the local GC had just sold theirs when I went to check it out.

He isn't bad and it must be impossible when you are compared to your musical legend dad. Man he sure has his dad's face though doesn't he? wow.

Love this clip..definitely studio though. Remember, most of them were musicians already...including Dolenz who played guitar previouslyl, but learned drums for the Monkees. By 1967, they were playing their own music on tour as well as albums although Headquarters was the only album they put out where...

Re: Chrome Pickup Cover
I used both of those products on my 97 firelo 4003 when I got it and it shined up like new money! I actually used it last week on my Fender Rhodes gold sparkle piano bass ala Ray manzarek and it gave it a glass shiny finish...can't say enough good things about it.

I've had it done to my account too when I sold a Fender Rhodes Piano bass.. it sold for $2500 and someone did the same thing with my account asking to only contact by email or the bid would be cancelled...they did it over and over like 10 times over 2 days.. ..I feel bad for anyone that falls for it...

Re: Tapewounds
You are so right. I've used alot of auto waxes on my cars throughout the years and none of them smell this nice. It was also really easy to use. Just rub it in and that's it. It was nice not to have to "beat the clock" and end up with a sore arm. I don't know why everyone doesn't use this ...

Re: Tapewounds
I may have to try some of those other strings, but for now, I like the Fender Tapes...they are actually starting to break in nicely. They were a little brighter than I wanted, but as someone else suggested on another thread, they break in arounda week or so, then sound good and then last for years. I ...
