Honestly from an aesthetic standpoint that’s not a bad look especially on a MapleGlo guitar, not sure about from a functional standpoint vs. the grommets.

Re: HB1 in the bridge position on a 325?
“I was thinking about either going with three Creamery ‘63 toasters or two toasters and the HB1.”
Just a heads up regarding the Creamery Toasters, great pickups for sure but they are taller than RIC’s and might be to close to the strings when mounted on the grommets.
I put a couple on a 620/12 ...

Re: Help, my 325v59 sounds too muddy!
I think the problem is youre just plugging a bunch of pedals into a DI. You need one of the modern units every pro is switching to these days like a Helix, etc, that is made for this purpose. Plugging pedals right into a board without any device that would properly emulate what happens in an amp ...

Re: HB1 in the bridge position on a 325?
I have a replica of the Jackson Browne prototype, with an HB at the bridge and 2 90's hi-gains. Wired for any combo. It is super verstaile.
Thanks just looking for something that’s reversible if I don’t like it. I have a 325v59 that being from 1995 has hot toasters in it. I was thinking about ...

HB1 in the bridge position on a 325?
Anyone ever made that modification, and if so were you pleased and what middle and neck pickups did you use, hot or scatter wound toasters or something else?

RickySounds ‘Controla-Rama’ loom vs Glen’s Loom
I currently have Glen’s Loom in my 325v59, but I am curious about the similar ‘Controla-Rama’ harness offered by RickySounds in the UK in 4- and 5-knob versions. I’m not displeased with Glen’s Loom but I was curious about the RickySounds harness because every pickup combination including all three ...

Anyone using your Ric 12 with a Line 6 POD Go?
And if so, what settings are you using? I’m having a devil of a time getting an acceptable jangle sound with my 12 through my POD Go and I am looking for at least a starting point for figuring out something.

Re: Help, my 325v59 sounds too muddy!
How's it sound without all the "toys" in between the guitar and the DI? Also, is this used only in church through their FOH system? Have you ever played the guitar into a guitar amp?
I’ve not tried it without the toys. I may do that at practice.
I have used it with a Fender Super Champ XD amp ...

Help, my 325v59 sounds too muddy!
I have been playing my 1995 325v59 in the worship band at church, I play rhythm, and I simply can’t get the kind of sound out of it that I want. It’s too bassy and muddy, and was particularly bad today. I know some of that might be the hot toasters, and I am not opposed to a pickup change to ...
