Well done Mike, the bass looks very authentic to me, check again the pics, you can clearly see the buckle ware and a small "peeled-off" area at the back of the body so I don´t think it is a refin.
The neck heel shape looks strange in comparison to both my 4000 and the one that sold on eBay about a ...

Glad you like it Ted, The pic was taken from the side so body looks kind of big, out of proportion and strange. It is not like this in real life of course !!!
