Re: Rickenbacker B series faceplate,
Hello all, I'm looking for a faceplate for my B-16 (or -22) amplifier. I was put on the hunt for Scott Jennings, but I can't seem to find a way to reach him. Between finding Scott and having one reproduced, does anyone else have any idea of how I could proceed? Thanks so much. He is pretty active o...

Re: Matching 2X12,
Yep, I was thinking about it-- seems like I've worked the bugs out and she seems pretty reliable. I'll still bring a backup.

Re: Matching 2X12,
Paul, That's a good suggestion; I hadn't thought about building a new box-- I did consider cutting up a board to upholster just for the grill cloth in case the original composite board disintegrated-- but it wasn't a problem. I don't think a new box is really necessary because after I cleaned up the...

Matching 2X12,
Just as a friendly FYI as I know matching Rickenbacker 2X12's are impossible to find: I too have been on the hunt for a 2X12 that would match my new-to-me B-22 head (http://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=396521). After some searching and some requests for tolex and grill cloth, ...

Re: Really quick question,
Just an update-- It was popping and had a lot of white noise, but this was all due to dirty tube pins. I cleaned the pins of the preamp tubes and cleaned a few potentiometers. Now with the correct load, the amplifier is deafening and sounds amazing. The "brilliante" option doesn't seem to ...

Re: Really quick question,
Sounds good. Thanks to all who responded. Right now I'm leaning towards a bad OT because the primary and secondary wiring doesn't match (cloth wrapped vs. shrink wrapped). The voltages going into the primary side of the OT all seem correct (about 450v) so I'm assuming the filter capacitors are doing...

Really quick question,
Hello all. A friend of mine gave me either a B-16 or B-22 head. The thing has certainly seen it's fair share of mods and the wiring doesn't seem to match that of the schematics floating around on-line. However, my question is, how many watts is this thing? When he gave it to me, it was whisper quiet...
