Stringing a 12 string acoustic.
Has anyone ever restrung a 12 string acoustic guitar like a Ric? I realize it would most likely require a new nut, but was curious if anyone here had done it, and what did it do for your tone? I've got a 660/12 and have a Rainsong JM3000 on the way and was wondering while waiting on Fed Ex to get it ...

Re: Twelve String Stratocaster Kit!
I think it's great Ivan did this project and I encourage things like that (sans the fake logo), but I also think it's the responsibility of us "grumpy old backseat drivers" (I'm 34 btw) to help educate the younger folk so they may understand when and why they are wrong or misguided about certain ...

New 381/12 one off up on EBay!
I saw Rickenbacker Guitars (Official) post this link on FaceBook the other day for a custom one off they are selling. I just thought all of us here might like to see it!

Re: The Connell's and Rickenbackers
Wow! They are my favorite band, yet I didn't know they played Rickenbackers in the past. I saw them live (again) last fall at a rare performance in Atlanta, and got to chat with them backstage after the show. George Huntley is no longer with the band, but his replacement guitarist was a pretty good ...

Might want to try and contact Larry Davis in Atlanta too - he has been mentioned on this forum a bit.

Anyone had any experience with a Fargen modded DRRI amp?
I was just curious if anyone here has had any experience playing Rickenbackers through a Fargen "Hot Mod" modded Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue and what your thoughts on it might be. For those of you unfamiliar with this, here's a link for your information. I've seen good information about the Fargen ...
