My Rickenbacker is a lefty from 2008. I read that Rickenbacker modified the nuts for their 12 string a few years back, to slightly increase spacing. Can anyone check this photo and tell me if this is one of the newer nuts? Because I am finding it hard to play, C chords etc, without inadvertently mut...

Yes I know Frank very well. He did paint repairs on my Rick & Gibson AJ in the past. He's an artist & a great person. I didn't know he did setups as well, I will contact him.

if you know of a good online resource that teaches how to do it, I would gladly try to learn...it's a shame there are no videos!

Does anyone know a good tech to set up my Rickenbacker 360/12 in Sydney? Most guitar techs are clueless when working with this model I find, they just don't have the experience or knowledge of all the 12 string quirks...Can you recommend someone with good experience?

Since I am lefty and they don't exist for us, I am inclined to build my own Epiphone/Gibson 12 string mutant actually!!Epiphone body, flipped Gibson 12 neck. should not be hard to pull off

This thread inspired me to pull out my book on Rickenbacker 12 strings, there is some interesting reading regarding Carl Wilson...Jeff Foskett who joined and then later replaced Carl in the Beach Boys and with Brian Wilson is quoted as asking Carl why he switched to Epiphone after using Rickenbacker...

How are they, compared to Ricks? Should Rickenbacker be worried? Any insight would be appreciated.
