Re: 620 and bigsby mod
Thanks for the note. My luthier friend isn't sure about this either. I may just stick with the accent and see if a thicker gauge may work better.

Re: 620 and bigsby mod
I gather this is something that isn't done very often based on the amount of replies received. I brought the guitar to a luthier earlier today and he doesn't have experience with this combination either. He recommended I ... post this question on a Rickenbacker forum to get some input before buying ...

620 and bigsby mod
I purchased a 620 jg last week from pick of the ricks. I put an accent on it and am not particularly happy with the feel of it. Was curious to know whether anyone here has put a bigsby on their 620/660, and if so, what the results have been? It looks like the b5 would be the best fit, but I'm also c...

Re: New factory nut: 1981 360/12
Thanks for the note, it's a height issue, the width is fine. I contacted customer support about it but got nowhere with them. The luthier that was working on the guitar also reached out to them via e-mail (not in the nicest way, I admit). I guess my question is whether the height of the nut changed ...

Re: 1997 330: how rare?
It's called a 1997, and if you use "Rickenbacker 1997" as a search term on eBay, you'll get notifications when they do come up. One went for $1K just a few days ago on the 'Bay. Good tip, thanks. I clicked on the link of the individual selling their 1997, but I don't have rights yet. I'll...

1997 330: how rare?
Over the last year or so, I've been looking to get my hands on a 330 1997 w/f-hole model. I've been scouring e-bay for a while, but no luck. I obviously don't have enough posts to look in the marketplace yet.

New factory nut: 1981 360/12
Hello all, first post, long time ogler. I was looking to replace the nut and bridge on my ric to get more spacing between the string pairs. I ordered the items directly from Rickenbacker. The luthier was able to replace the bridge without issue, but the nut seems to be much shorter than the one that...
