The new Instagram reel of Rickenbacker official suggest many new 4003 come with checkered binding...

They have single truss rods.

I hope they are going to put these on regular production!

has anyone figured out if regular 4003 in classic colours (I mean firego and mapleglo) with the new bridge have been shipped? I'm searching for a mapleglo 4003 with bridge v.2, preferably here in Europe, but can't find it...
