My son has one of these Hofner Icons...as well as a pretty nice American Fender Jazz bass and a Rickenbacker 4003. The hofner is put together nicely, place fine, and sounds great. He uses it in jazz band and to add some spice to the show....
He picked it up used, in spotless condition for $170.00 ...

I agree, the original version looks better. I sign up for a Version I/50s 360F :D

Re: Check this baby out....

The H stands for 1968
The D stands for April.

Still an ...

Holy Cow....you're right...it is a 370F.....
Does anyone know why it's stamped 730???
Because the jackplate for your 370F was made just after the jackplate stamped 729.
Seriously, that's just a production number that has no relevance to the model of the guitar.
Are you serious? What are the ...

1968 370 F natural maple....any info??/
Hello,
I have a mint 1968 370 f maple guitar in mint condition. I can't seem to locate much information regarding this model on the internet, and I need to get an accurate appraisal of it's worth for insurance purposes, as well as a possible sale. Can anyone help me find what I need?
Thanks,
Tony
