So, Rickenbacker Strings are not connected to RicStrings… Wow that’s a bit deceptive…

I haven’t used Rickenbacker strings in so long I either didn’t know or forgot…..

There must be some confusion? In a previous Post I was referred to RicStrings.com. I believe it was you. That’s the website I’m referring to..Not Rickenbacker.com… Anyway…. According to RicStrings.com one Set of 12 Strings is made by Thomastik, one is made GHS & the other is made by an Unamed US...

I looked at Ric strings & it appears for Electric 12 String Guitars Thomastic makes their high end Strings, GHS makes their mid priced Strings & somebody else makes their budget Strings.. I think I’ll try these again… Which ones do you all use & why? Thanks Glenn - Neither Thomastik Inf...

RIC has had the same string supplier for over 10 years, and the supplier before that for another 20 or so, and probably a similar run from the one preceding. Pyramid strings may have improved, but when reintroduced, due to their high tension, were the cause of many bowed necks and other problems. C...
