Big headstock on those pics. The V63 did have a smaller headstock near the end of it's production though, close to the c series being announced.

I read an account where John C Hall was taken by his father to meet the Beatles in 1965 when they were in California to play the Hollywood Bowl and that the bass was brought to them at house they were staying in.

You likely don't even have to file them, try it first without, string tension might be enough

yea, I think its the best of the Beatles historical dramas ..... despite it's absolutely infuriating inaccuracies I hadn't watched this,(Birth of the Beatles), since i first saw it in 1979. Just downloaded a copy, watched it. The guy doing Lennon was excellent. And those infuriating bits??? How man...

For being made in Asia, what do you want, it's a pretty decent price. The few I've seen on line don't have the German issue style control panel though, like the one in the this pic.

They need to bring these back.
