I'm not familiar with William Young. From google, I see he is a luthier that restores vintage instruments.
If he's involved, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Should I reach out to see if he was?

Re: Help with 325
Yeah, I think I'll just play the hell out of it.
It still feels and sounds great.
Maybe I'll email the guy who traded it to me and tell him that guitar gods will put a spell on him!

Re: Help with 325
Bummer! Thank you for those pictures, Sascha. I think that is absolutely the same guitar. You can see a little chip on the left hand side in both guitars. I wonder how that person concluded it was a fake. Since so many of the parts are real, is it possible that its a bit of a frankenstein guitar? An...

Thanks, Dan. His description seems to be very similar. Unfortunately, all of his pictures have been removed. I PM'ed him, hopefully he can shed some light.

Re: Help with 325
Thank you, Gil! And thanks for your continued help, Brian. For the body cavity picture, is that underneath the pick guard? I don't have any tools to remove it right now but I will get try to get them today or tomorrow so I can get that picture. Do all 325s have the elongated jack plates? Is it possi...

Re: Help with 325
Thank you for the reply, Brian! I don't believe it is an actual C58, I think the previous owner just modified it to look as such. Do all 325 models have the elongated jackplates? (it doesn't look like anybody in that gallery took pictures of their jackplates) Also, sorry for a dumb question, but wha...

Help with 325
I got this guitar from Craigslist a couple months ago. It looks, feels, and plays great but I am concerned with the authenticity because the jackplate number is already registered to a different guitar on the registration page. Info I was given: -2008 Rickenbacker 325 -Previous owner had it professi...

Little Steven
Springsteen's guitarist - and king of all that is cool - plays a ric sometimes when he's going for a very 60s solo.

Re: Stinky case.
I had a Hofner violin bass case that had such a distinct smell. Nobody could decide if it was bad or just odd.
Sometimes I catch a similar whiff and it brings back good memories of playing.

Re: So nice of him to do this
I love when he shouts out "minor." It's odd but it sticks with me.
like in the "let it be" film where they are learning "maxwell's silver hammer."
