Re: Atlantis with HiTek vibrato - images and questions

There is one FS on a popular internet auction site. No vibrato, just a standard set up. Ends today.

P.S. The guitar offered is not mine, nor do I have any connection with the seller whatsoever. Just happened to see it.

Re: Atlantis with HiTek vibrato - images and questions

I confirmed that the model number should be '650A VB' with the factory, but they didn't have any info on numbers produced, etc.

Any info appreciated,

Atlantis with HiTek vibrato - images and questions

Anyone have production numbers, info, trivia on this model - specifically ones equipped with factory vibrato? Is the model number '650A VT' or '650A VB' (or something else)? Was it ever used on any popular songs? Have been looking for more info on the web, but no luck other than a few comments that ...

Re: Atlantis model number question, info?

Thanks for the reply. I'll post a picture in this forum under a separate thread, since it seems the question I am really posing is about the vibrato on this model, more than the model itself.

Thanks again,

Re: Atlantis model number question, info?

Thanks for the info and link. I did check these out, but still have the same issue: no images or info on the Atlantis with vibrato/tremolo... I am beginning to think this was a very unusual option on this guitar. I know it came from the factory with this option... Any help appreciated Thanks, Mark

Atlantis model number question, info?

First post here on the forums. Looking forward to learning more about Ricks... I have an Atlantis built in 1988 with factory vibrato/tremolo. Would the proper model number be "650A VT"? Does anyone know how many Atlantis' were built like this? Hard to even find an image of one on the web.....
