Re: May I Introduce To You...V82!

So let me ask this. Why is it crazy to think that V93 would be a good reference point to get V82's wiring correct? Lets remember that V81, V82 and V93 were all modified to 4 pot looms and sent to Germany together in 1958. My goal is to get V82 wired as it was in 1958 when it went to Germany. V93 ser...

Re: May I Introduce To You...V82!

There are enough references on the thread, not to mention people who received your discreet little emails ala "....A little birdie told me to explore the "inner markings"/wiring of Hoover's 325, and compare to JWilli's V86...Doing so, found find it very similar and feel it is safe to...

Re: May I Introduce To You...V82!

It's a funny thing you know. It seems like only a few weeks ago in another forum that the buyer was adamant that this guitar was not V82, but was actually V84. It was said that he had seen internal marking proving that it was V84, and so V82 was still out there somewhere. Now that Paul has purchase...

May I Introduce To You...V82!

Very happy to be the new owner of this great guitar :) It is in much better condition then what I was expecting. The pictures on the Ebay posting really did not do it justice. I took this picture and you can see she looks great! The action is absolutely perfect and the neck joint is very strong. Cer...

Also had these knobs in the case pocket. I am told these are the actual original knobs.

I would heavily caution against making any NON-REVERSIBLE mods to any vintage Rickenbacker!

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

Here are some additional photos of V109. She truly is a beauty. I agree that any non-reversible modification should ever be done to a vintage guitar. If I buy this one, she will stay as-is. http://imageshack.us/a/img526/2294/img2454640x427.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img12/5683/img2555640x427.jpg htt...

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

So to be clear, there were 28 "Lennon-esque" 325's made in 1958, just not necessarily in the serial number sequence of V80 through V107? Any idea what the 28th 325 from 1958 serial number would be?

Re: two-tone brown '58 325 - eBay

I am a bit confused. If this is V109, wouldn't this have been the 30th (V80-V109) one made? I thought there were only 28 made in 1958?

Re: So, may we introduce to you...TheBeatlesGear.com

Forgetting whether we agree or disagree with what's happened to the Arden 12. Back to the website set before us. I have to admit, it does look a little amateurish, sorry. There's a lot of great web building software out there. Maybe at this early stage, it might be worth considering the overall loo...
