Dang John, that's amazing. Circles... you know what you need to do... ; ) ... and since the wood isn't perfect, I'd have it bound, myself... something in an aged cream would be amazing.

As some know, I acquired an '80 360/12 OS recently. It was noticeably heavier than the '92 330/12 it replaced, and much heavier than the 60's Rics I've played. It doesn't quite have the sustain of the later, non-cross-braced model, but it has about 10% more jangle, though I don't know why.

Might be the .0047 cap in the circuit, as I recently discovered on my 1980 Ric.

I'm pretty sure there is 12 String on the Tomorrow record, and also on the Bodast record, if memory serves. I thought I saw a pic of a Ric in some live shot or another...

I love the high contrast Jetglo with the binding. Beautiful guitar. Makes me miss my 330/12 JG. I, for one, would love to see more bound 360/OS style guitars, though I've heard Mr. Hall says this is unlikely due to cost issues. It would be nice to at least be able to buy 6 string versions of these ...

I think Glenn makes a good point too. There is quite a bit of difference between the cross-braced Ric's and the later ones...

Weller's guitar (and Foxton's) are both Burgundyglo. I recently purchased an '80 Burgundyglo 360WB for about $1400. It's near mint.

I would say that at $1482 without stereo and deluxe features that guitar is WAY overpriced, except to someone who really wanted EXACTLY that combo.
