Re: The Smiths- BBC 2 ...12th May 2013

Unbelievable how fast time goes, that's for sure. For me they were almost too good because, in my opinion, no-one has come close to them since.. (I know that's a bit narrow minded and there is and has been lots of great music but they were just superb)

I reckon you dream a lot more about them when you haven't got one and desperately want one 8)

Re: Sure Wish There Was Something New

[Tired reminder that the backlog still exists] [New guy complains] [New guy flamed] [Compliment to hard-working people at Rickenbacker] [Reminder that most Rickenbacker customers still want standard models] [Tired reminder that the backlog still exists] [Jokes] [/thread] :D  :P After your last...

Re: 330/12 Issues

He has worked on your other guitars though hasn't he? If you don't live too far from him and have confidence in him than i would pop it back to him. He has been paid to do a job so let him put it right!! :P ( especially if there is nothing conspicously wrong such as loose/ill fitting screws e.t.c) T...

Re: 360/12 Body Size

It's well known that all four Beatles were significantly height-challenged. In fact, George Harrison measured only about four inches tall. To accomodate this, Rickenbacker produced a special one-off miniature model especially for him. Replicas are still available today from several sources: http://...

Re: New JangleBox pedals

Steve Lasko, I think we're all pretty excited about the two new JangleBox pedals which are in production. You had said that the end of summer would be the target date. Are things moving as expected? Will RRF members have the first opportunity to purchase these pedals? Can you give us any more infor...

Re: Roger Mcguinn

I read an interview with him once where he says that he used to go on these sorts of forums but that he hadn't done so for a while as they can get quite 'nasty' ( i know what he means i'm afraid :? )

Super shifter

Suprisingly, I've never read anything about this pedal here but after recently picking up a Boss PS-5 super shifter (pitch shifter) I can't put my 330/6 down. I reckon it is the 'missing link' I've been looking for. Played along with the JB1 and Boss CE-2 Chorus, this pedal has given my 6 string tha...

Re: Janglebox

Glad I've read this because my JB1 is also plugged into a mixer with Mackie powered speakers and I've thought the same as Karl...it doesn't sound as powerful as when plugged into my amp whereas my boss effects tend to be fine, so I'll try this. Thanks.....or maybe still just mic the amp instead 8)

Re: Vox AC30VR

I know this is an old post but having had the VR30 for about 18 months now i DEFINETELY think it sounds even better than when I first had it. I just wish i could take it with me when me and the wife play but it's just too heavy and I've only got a small car so we can't get it all in along with the P...
