Re: Rickenbacker - A Rarity In Isreal

True, but I gave up as so much waiting got me "on the edge". So I decided to go for a v64 that was a bit easier to find. I finally found it with the help of Peter in a musical store in Canada :D .

Re: Rickenbacker - A Rarity In Isreal

Hello Gil, Tomer, Ilan, Mark, Baruch and other israeli Rick players\collectors,
I have a humble collection of 3 Ricks:
325 V59 JG with Lennon mod's
325 V63 JG
360/12 V64 FG
I used to have a 360 FG but I sold it last year.
In the future I plan to get a 325 C64 MG.
Ariel.

80's Hofner 500/1 question

Hello, I have an 80's hofner 500/1 violin bass, the one with the blade pickups. In the past 2 years the pickups are getting a green color because of corrosion, and It's very difficult scrapping it off. I tried sanding it and then coating gently with WD40 oil, but it came back. I think maybe it has t...

Re: George Harrison Site

I got my "Gent" from NCM a few weeks ago :)
Very interesting those mutes, they are like bike brakes- rubber sponge pads connected by levers trough the body to the buttons on the upper and lower side of the bigsby. A totally mechanical mechanism.
I haven't used them yet though...

My crash with ricks started in the late 70's. As a kid I had a Beatles lyrics book with pictures, and there I saw John lennon with that strange looking guitar which was not a fender nor a gibson...What is that?? I thought...didn't know until the mid 80's. I remember I was at the bus station and had ...

I couldn't hold on any longer as waiting got me nuts, so I took Stephen Stills advice: "...if you can't be with the one you love(c63), love the one you're with(v64)" and got me a 1998 360\12v64 to ease the pain http://archives.rickresource.com/oldattachments/67416.gif . My c63 order still ...

"On last thought on the 'fear of falling' - get insurance. If you want to sleep at night I think that is the best way to go... " Hey John, insurance is meaningless when it comes to Ricks. I think it's OK for Fenders maybe, You can always go to the music shop next to your house and buy one ...
