You only have to pay for "tab pro" tabs. All the other tabs are still free.

Hi guys, very quite here. Just wanted to mention that I tabbed al lot of old REM songs lately. Check them out on Ultimate Guitar under my account (Noelleon). Songs from Murmur, Fables and others. Have fun!

Of course the neck is narrower than on most other guitars but you WILL get used to it. I had to struggle for about a week to get my fingers in connection with my beloved 360 and now there is no difference in playing compared to my strat, tele, es-335.
And BTW, if you can play a RIC, you can play ...

I agree with you that most of the online, so-called tab transcriptions, are wildly oversimplified and not very helpful. I just wish someone would put together an R.E.M. tab book that contains authoritative transcriptions of some of their earlier material.
