I prefer the old look. This is very hard on my eyes, for some reason. I just returned from a quick trip to Florida and after only about fifteen minutes on the boards I can't focus my eyes anymore. My guess would be the standard RM was used in the studio and this one was for show. Cost me some $$$, since this video made me want a nice FG S bass & finally picked one up last summer.

That's his old FG RM1999, originally owned by Donovan and now in the possesion of Vincent Gallo, if I recall correctly. It is a nice one and I for one wouldn't mind it seeing the light of day again...
