Here's pix of my 3001, plus the bridge hackjob. Wow...didn't realize how much the finish on the bridge had deteriorated. I don't think the original bass lived very long with the rick bridge, as you can't see any fading to the finish outside of outline of the factory bridge.

Hey all,

I have a '78 3001 that I love....got it for way less than I should have back in the mid 80's. It's my fave fretted bass. It had been modified when I got it, with a Badass bridge, and also additional set of Dimarzio P-Bass pickups, switchable between the stock pickup
