Congratulations on pulling through some very tough times and coming out on top. Also, a huge congratulations to your daughter for graduating college.

There are a few Rickenbacker bridges on Reverb right now, some authentic, some "Rickenbacker-style".

I have a Winfield trapeze tailpiece. I find it to be of good quality.

One of my basses came with an All Parts tailpiece that was a replacement for a Badass bridge that replaced the original tailpiece. It was a piece of trash. I replaced it with an original tailpiece.

I installed one on my 340/12 last week. It's ok.

You lose individual tone controls, but the tone/compression 6 position knob has decent sounds.

What I really don't like is that if you turn any of the 3 pickup volume knobs all the way down, it acts like a master volume and you get no output.

I've owned both a 4004L that was all maple and a 4004cII with the maple walnut maple sandwich, and honestly they sounded the same to me.

I live in Richmond and work very close to Lindy's shop. They don't do Ric rewinds.

You can wire them like any humbucker, so you can split the coils, making the pickup single coil, and you can run the humbucker in series or parallel.

I believe Joe Barden rewires Ric pickups.
