Schaller locks will fit Ricks unless they're co-branded with Fender. The Fender Schaller buttons are a different size.

Of course, I'd have to cut down all the hard maple, black cherry, walnut and hickory first.
PA is way too cold for rosewood. You need to be in zone 10 at least.

Re: No bridge with Rick-O-Sound - am I using the right cable?
I recommend this stereo splitter box. Stereo cable from your Rick-O-Sound jack to stereo in, then regular instrument cables from the mono outs to your different pedals/amps.
You can also make your own box on the cheap if you know what you're doing.

Are you certain that your cable is a stereo cable and not a balanced cable that splits ring & sleeve for some reason?

Re: Ric 4004LK
Im normally loathe to recommend facebook, but right now the best place is a group on there called Rickenbacker Market Watch. Many heavy hitters are weighing in on things. The group has grown, so there are a few idiots who think a 2014 4003 MG is impressive, but they get put in their place pretty ...

Re: Sticky finish - 660 DCM
I had one of each of the DCM models. The 660 was the only one that the finish didn't get sticky or checked, but I sold it a while ago. Still have the 360 which now has the case lining stuck to it and the 4003, which while not sticky, is checked really badly.
