I'm a solid body guy. I need to like the sound of a guitar unamplified. All of the semi hollow guitars that I've played (including a GibsonES339 that I owned) sounded like banjos when unplugged. I opted for a 620, which I love. I guess that it fits with my other guitars (Strat and Tele).
