Re: New 4003 binding issue?
Joey, I don't think most of the basses on the TB forum thread have problems at all. Looks like 5 or 6 people had issues and they're the ones who are making the most noise and going back & fourth on the situation. The poll at the top shows almost 50% of the people who got 'em were "Very Sati...

Re: Milwaukee! June 11-12 2011
Here are some pics from Saturday. I'll let others subtitle these. I had a great time playing a lot of these and chatting with everyone. Wish I could have gone on Sunday. http://www.bobsyeruncle.com/rics/marc2011/IMGP5458.jpg http://www.bobsyeruncle.com/rics/marc2011/IMGP5459.jpg http://www.bobsyerun...

Re: Peter Buck on Ric bass
1/2" spacing was out May '75. I think the back screening lasted 'til the end of the year. I don't think that bass is Mills' bass. His had full width inlays.

Re: Fireball - Deep Purple live in 1972
The camera work on that entire DVD is pretty bad. They didn't get that they were supposed to focus on the soloist during his solo. Must have been a monitor problem for Gillian to be that off. He's certainly better than that. Glover's 4001 could only have been several months old at that point. There ...

The Decemberists & Peter Buck
The new Decemberists single, Down by the Water, features Peter Buck & some nice REM reminiscent Ric 12 string work. Their new album, The King is Dead, is due out January 18. I've already got my tix to see them in Chicago early Febuary. Hear a free sample of the tune here . Hear the whole album f...

Re: Can I get a little help from my friends?
The link to the song at the beginning of this thread is now gone. I'd like to chime in but I have nothing to reference. Could somebody post a new link?
