Re: 700/S Shasta - new PW build

Aha, I have been watching the progress of Warren's RIC on the FB side. Thanks for the photos. Great looking (and probably playing and sounding) acoustic. :D :D 8) 8)

Re: where to sell: eBay, Reverb, elsewhere?

I just listed with Reverb and it was certainly painless and I even get a nice "Guitar Store" front. May put a couple more things up there. So far, so good.

Re: 330/12 Walnut

I find the resonance on my 330W and 1993 Plus to be very good.

The Hi Gains on the 330W also had strong output.

Not sure where the "cheapish" part comes in you refer to.

I am happy with both newish models.

Re: 330/12 Walnut

I had a 330W for about a year and loved it. Only gave it up because I wanted a 1993 Plus. Great find. Enjoy. I like your mods!! :D :D

Re: Rickenbacker, betting on the past to ensure their future

I see a lot of punk, Indie and newer rock bands incorporating 6 and some 12-string RICs into their songs, vids and live performances. If you plug a RIC with the Hi-Gains into a decent amp you can get just about any sound you want from grunge to blues. Quilters give a great range of tone with RICs. I...

Re: RIP: Paul Kantner (74)

I just heard "Somebody to Love" this week on the radio and listened with a bit of a smile as PK jangled away at the rhythm on that great hit.

Sad to hear he has passed. Their early songs gave me plenty of great musical moments!!

Congrats Bob on a color few have seen. I have not had this much fun with a new model in a long time. I really enjoy the 330W/6 but this model is amazing. 8) 8)

Re: 1993Plus!!!

I want to "chime" in and say I just got a 1993 Plus in FG from POTR and am thoroughly loving the experience. The wide neck is a pleasure to play. Reminds me of my old Tom Petty 660/12. The body is resonant and the weight and feel are just right. This latest addition to the RIC line-up is a...
