Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

So, the Janglebox came in a few days ago. It's great, but I've got one question. It seems to cut my volume a little bit when I engage it. Is that normal? I've never played around with a compressor, so I'm not well knowledgeable about them. Also, I got a nice Rickenbacker brown strap for my 360. Just ...

Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

Yet again, I appreciate all the help.

To Robert, the flats have certainly jangled it up a good bit. I'm pretty excited to throw it through the Janglebox once it gets here.

Where might one find one of those Rickenbacker straps?

Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

Well, now I've got a brand spankin' new Janglebox headed my way. Any other advice for a new Ric user?

Re: Best Amp for a Rick?

Now I'm new to this whole thing, but my Rickenbacker 12 going into my SF Twin Reverb is damn near unbeatable.

Tom and Mike's collection of vintage gear is just unbelievable to me. Goodness.

Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

Robert,

Thankfully, I did my research and when I got home with my new Ric, I had a nice set of TI flats from Pick Of The Ricks waiting on me. Now, restringing was a heck of a job. But the flats certainly improved the feel, in my personal opinion. I normally use .63 Clayton Triangle picks, but I ...

Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

So, it's okay for me to assume that the Janglebox is the go-to compressor for a Rick? Any difference between the Silver ones, and the black ones, obviously besides the silver Jangleboxes being made overseas?

Re: Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

Thanks to you all for the warm welcomes. It feels good to be able to join the club. The Rickenbacker truly sounds great through the Twin. I'm now looking at possibly getting a set of toasters for mine. I'm wanting a little more Byrds/Petty/Beatles vibe. Would the Toasters plus a Janglebox get me all ...

Hello all! New Rickenbacker content.

photo-4.JPG Hey guys,

The search was long and hard, but I finally found my dream Rickenbacker 360-12 at a good price. I'm digging the heck out of it. I'm planning on getting a Janglebox sometime in the near future, and I might decide to go for the Toasters as well. But right now, she's sounding ...
