Gold for White
I have a 660-12 that had gold guards and nameplate. I changed the guards to white and now I need a white vintage nameplate. Does anyone have a white 12 string nameplate to trade for a gold one? e-mail me at my URL hotmail address if interested. Thanx-

Pickguard paint removal
I have a 660/12 with gold pickguards that I just can't get used to. I have a spare white nameplate and was hoping I could remove the gold paint from the pickguards and re-spray them white. Anyone have a good suggestion for removing the paint without damaging the plastic? My first thought was laquer ...

Truss rod adjustment
My 1973 4001 neck needs to be straightend a bit. I read the procedure on the Ric page and my question is, as I position the neck where I want it, how tight do I crank the nuts? I am aware that too much pressure may pop the fretboard-

You may want to pop yer head in Guitar Center if you can put up with the goofy sales people with the"backstage pass" nametags. Be sure to check out the Rickenfaker 325 there trying to pass off as original for $850.00! Their tag prices are usually way off but somtimes you find a score. Their lack of ...
